Webmaster

Johanns is a web developer and producer with over fifteen years of professional experience in the web design and production industries. As the president of Arts+Media, a web design and production company based in San Jose, Costa Rica, he specialize in building creative websites for businesses, focusing primarily on custom CMS design and development. When he is not drinking coffee and writing code, Johanns is drinking coffee and producing events and concerts. He is a proud father and a long-time friend of Brahmanand and Amba where he has supported them as webmaster since 2001.

Curriculum Advisor

Claudia Saucy aka Karuna Ma is a Certified Nosara Yoga Educator. She holds a Masters in Education. Most recently she left her career in formal education to join the Brahmanand and Amba. As she gracefully responds to website inquiries and supports Self-Awaening Yoga programs, she continues her inquiry into yoga and body/centered healing modalities including Ayurveda and Bach Flowers. Karuna Ma was born in the US and raised in Europe, she speaks 5 languages and splits here time between the US and Costa Rica.

Financial

Luis Enrique has a Masters degree in Business specialized in Finance from the University of Costa Rica. While working for more than 20 years with multinational companies, he acquired extensive experience that now is at the service of Self-Awakening Yoga. As a team player he likes coaching and learning new things, which right now includes learning portuguese as a third language.   Luis Enrique enjoys family time, mountain bike, traveling, and of course, making new friends!

Graphic Designer and Producer

Rodrigo's got a bachelor degree in Graphic Arts from University of Costa Rica. He worked several years at an advertising agency, and later created his own company on graphic design and music production. He has worked since 2000 designing and composing audio and video projects for Brahmanand & Amba for NYI. His work goes from creating design campaigns to composing music for different media, producing for several artists, and playing with his band Peregrino Gris (Grey Pilgrim): the first costarrican celtic and folk music band. His musical studies have been informal but he is continuously taking classes on harmony, counterpoint, arranging and producing with qualified teachers.
