Devarshi/Steven Hartman, E-RYT 500, NYE 1000

Devarshi is the Current Dean of The Kripalu School of Yoga and faculty member of Nosara Yoga Institute’s Advanced Yoga Teacher Training Curriculum. He has been a student and teacher of yoga and yoga philosophy since 1974, was a longtime Kripalu Ashram resident, and has dedicated his life to the study and practice of the art and science of yoga. Devarshi is the author of the best selling audio series, “The Essence of the Bhagavad Gita”, as well as, “The Simple Secrets of Inner Peace” and the new Kripalu Yoga Vigorous DVD. He has also been a student and colleague of Don and Amba Stapleton for nearly thirty years.

Devarshi’s training has included many years in personal growth classrooms training with Werner Ehrhardt in EST, Lifespring, LifeStream, ARAS, The New Warrior Program, Avatar Master/Wizard, and of course, yoga with almost every leading yoga teacher of the past three decades. He has been a student and teacher of A Course in Miracles since 1976, has two children, two houses, two cars, and has made many large messes in his life. The terrain of true transformation for individuals and the planet remains his passionate exploration and inquiry.

Devarshi currently teaches Yoga Teacher Trainings and advanced yoga training at Kripalu Center as well as conferences and workshops around the globe. He maintains a private practice in Bodywork and PranaKosha facilitation in Becket, MA.
